Your vehicle locks the connector, so it also has to be released by the vehicle. Follow these steps until the connector is released:

Make sure that your charging session has ended.
Unlock your vehicle using the keys.
Push the connector in the vehicle whilst unlock the vehicle again. Yes, we know that the connector is already in the vehicle – just give it a try. 😉
