How to stop my charging session
There are several ways to stop your charging session, depending on how you started it. We'll show you how!
Follow these steps to stop your charging session:
Press the 2nd button from the left to show active charging sessions. The light around the button should be green.
Select your charging session using one of the buttons below the charger screen. If you are using the left connector, you should press the left button. The same principle goes for the right connector.
If asked, authenticate with your EV charge card.
Press the rightmost button to stop your charging session.
It may take a few seconds for your vehicle to unlock the connector after the charging session has ended. For more help with unlocking the connector, refer to the help guide below.
I have an issue with stopping the charging session
If you cannot stop the charging session using the charger screen, there are alternatives available. Try the following solutions.
If you used the Fastned app to start charging, you can also use it to stop.
Most vehicles allow stopping charging from within the vehicle itself. Refer to the owner's manual for instructions.
You can adjust the maximum charge level of your vehicle to a low value. This will make the vehicle stop drawing power, since the maximum charge level is already reached.
Please note that, ultimately, it does not matter how you stop a charging session when it comes to the payment. If you can release the connector from the vehicle, you can be sure that the charging session stopped.
